Please label all of your child’s items with their name and a phone number to reach you, in case they get lost, they may be returned to you as soon as possible. Please be aware that during Saturday Adventures, children will be expected to self carry all of their gear (except an extra change of clothes if provided) which we may keep in the van. Their backpack should be comfortable and not have any extra toys or materials making them too heavy to carry. Good Life Girls will have extra water, sunscreen, and bug spray available. During overnight camping trips, we will be car camping and will have all gear close to the camp spot and girls will not need to self-carry camping gear a far distance. • We provide parents with exact locations that we will be visiting and will always have every staff member’s phone number available at all times during your child’s program. The company phone number (970.279.1173) forwards all calls to both of the trip leaders’ phones. We always carry a satellite phone on every trip, which connects to a home-base with immediate emergency communication access when we travel to locations without immediate cell reception. Our commitment to our girls’ families is that we provide the safest experience, from pre-trip planning, through sharing emergency procedures with parents and participants, to debriefing every program to both parents and children to learn about our experiences and how we can carry valuable learning principles into our world.
